Youth Justice Facility Business Case Leadership

The development of a new $288 million fit-for-purpose, high-security youth justice centre which includes 224 beds for remand and sentenced clients, a twelve-bed mental health unit and an intensive supervision unit of at least eight beds.

Ontoit was appointed by DHHS and had responsibility for the strategic oversight and management of the Parkville Youth Detention Centre Redevelopment including coordination and management of; the refurbishment team, business case development and stakeholder management including the development of a communications strategy to support the consultation process.

Ontoit provided oversight of the business case deliverables, timing and quality of outputs produced by a range of sub-consultants including economic, social, technical and cost consultants.
