The Surgical Procedures, Interventional Radiology and Emergency (SPIRE) Project
The SPIRE Centre is a major health infrastructure project for Canberra and the surrounding region.
Canberra Hospital is the largest public hospital and tertiary referral centre in the region. The new SPIRE Centre will increase the Territory’s capacity to deliver acute hospital-based health care in a modern, purpose-built facility.
The new nine-story building, set to be delivered in 2024, will deliver additional capacity for: emergency, perioperative, intensive care, acute coronary care services and inpatient beds. The project scope also includes a rooftop helipad, a services tunnel and a bridge connection to the main hospital and significant public realm upgrades.
Services provided:

- Transaction advisory services centred on coordinating the development of the project’s Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) Design and Construct (D&C) Request for Tender (RFT)
