Sydney Conservatorium of Music – Asset Lifecycle Costing & Validation Report

The Conservatorium of Music was originally developed in 1915, with a major redevelopment undertaken approximately 20 years ago. The entire site is heritage listed and is owned by NSW Department of Education and Communities (NSWDoE).

The Sydney Conservatorium of Music was originally developed in 1915 and is a purpose-built facility for performance and study for classes attended by both tertiary and high school music students. The heritage listed Greenaway building last underwent a major redevelopment in 1998, requiring a thorough facilities and operational review.

Ontoit was appointed by BGIS to develop an Asset Lifecycle Costing and Validation Report to provide a thorough and well-informed risk analysis of major plant and equipment that impact on operational performance.

Ontoit led a team of consultants (including Building Services Consultants) to undertake an asset condition assessment and data modelling, and deliver a 10-year Asset Lifecycle Costing Validation Report for the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and Conservatorium of High School.
