John Holland Rail (JHR), appointed by Transport for NSW to manage and operate the State's regional rail network, engaged Ontoit to undertake the Kandos to Gulgong Rail Line Reinstatement Feasibility Study.
The Study assessed the engineering requirements for new and upgraded infrastructure to implement a functional rail corridor, investigated land use and environmental planning issues along the route, identified potential demand for the line and conducted a financial and economic assessment of the rail corridor.
