Diamond Valley Sport and Fitness Centre Redevelopment

The redevelopment of the existing Diamond Valley Sports & Fitness Centre will ensure that community services, programs and facilities are inclusive and respond to current and emerging needs of the Nillumbik Shire community.

The existing facility includes a gymnasium, kiosk, creche, meeting spaces and indoor sports courts. With the indoor courts catering for a wide variety of community sports including basketball, squash, netball, badminton, and table tennis. The redevelopment will facilitate an increase in capacity and improve accessibility by delivering contemporary facilities and additional compliant courts.

The project incorporates the provision of 4 compliant indoor sports courts and new administration facilities which will include a new entrance, café, lounge, reception, accessible toilets, additional change rooms and amenities. A lift from the lower ground to ground floor will facilitate accessibility, and as part of the works the existing change rooms and amenities will be refurbished. Upgrade works will also be carried out to the existing facility to ensure compliance with current legislation.

Our role

We provided the full suite of project management services from inception through to operational handover. Key deliverables included design management and coordination, stakeholder consultation through to schedule management and programming.
