Angliss Hospital Expansion
The Angliss Hospital Expansion Stage 2 Project is designed to significantly enhance healthcare services for the Knox and Yarra Ranges communities. This expansion will introduce a new multi-storey building that includes a modern inpatient unit, four operating theatres, a central sterile supply department, and additional spaces for outpatient services.
By upgrading and expanding its facilities, the project aims to ensure that local residents have access to world-class healthcare services close to home. The project involves two early works packages, which include essential demolition, civil, services, and logistics works to prepare the site for the main construction phase. The second early works package is anticipated to commence in mid-2023.
OUR ROLE
Expert project management and superintendent services have been essential to the successful progression of the Angliss Hospital Expansion Stage 2 Project. Day-to-day coordination among the client, health agencies, consultants, and contractors has ensured clear communication and efficient problem-solving throughout the project. Management of consultant and contractor teams, preparation of detailed reports, oversight of major procurements, and administration of contracts have been handled with precision, all in alignment with the Victorian Health Building Authority’s objectives. By guiding the project from design through to construction completion, the team has maintained a steady focus on delivering a facility that meets the growing healthcare needs of the Knox and Yarra Ranges communities.
