VANZ operate a PMO that oversees projects across Australia and New Zealand. The company’s project management framework, although comprehensive, lacked a digital delivery system to support it. As such, the PMO encountered issues with project governance and compliance.
VANZ’s regional PMO oversees the delivery of hundreds of projects annually ranging from minor asset remediation works to large design and construct projects valued in the hundreds of millions.
Ontoit were engaged to design and implement an effective and flexible digital project delivery framework to improve efficiency, visibility, governance and quality across its project delivery teams.
Working closely with a cross section of Veolia stakeholders, a set of detailed improvement recommendations were established and implemented. Additionally, Ontoit was tasked with managing the digitisation of VANZ’s delivery framework, driving efficiencies through the deployment of a project analytics and reporting system.
