Ontoit was instrumental in enabling the growth of the port and facilitating its future success by setting up a Project Management Office (PMO) for delivery of the Port of Hastings Development Authority’s capacity expansion program.
The PMO lead, manager and integration lead were responsible for developing a project management manual and simple plans and tools for use by the project team.
They also defined project discipline and controls and ensured the right people were involved with scoping, production and acceptance of deliverables to help prepare for the final business case.
