Ontoit led the development of the plan including stakeholder workshops with the CAM Board, Trustees and staff and weekly meetings with a dedicated subcommittee comprising CAM board members and staff.

The two stakeholder workshops included:

• Workshop #1 with CAM Board, Trustees, Executive Director and General Manager to clarify expectations, success factors and non negotiable aspects of the project;
• Workshop #2 with CAM key stakeholders to confirm delegation matrix, key program and scope prioritisation.

Weekly meetings enabled collation of heritage information and previous documentation to be provided which informed the final PMP created.

Castlemaine Art Museum (CAM) secured $6M of state government funding through Creative Victoria to deliver minor capital works and planning and design works (Stage 1) to enable a future Stage 2. In addition, they received $272,000 through the Victorian Government’s Regional Collections Access Program towards a new museum-standard lighting system and minor pest mitigation. CAM required experienced Project Managers to develop a Project Management Plan (PMP) to provide to Creative Victoria that would set out how the overall project would be managed throughout its life including governance, plan with budget and clear scope, delivery model including timeline and deliverables/key milestones.
