Canterbury Road Upgrade Simulation Modelling

Canterbury Road upgrade works will improve traffic flow, ease congestion and provide a more reliable journey for road users, particularly during peak periods.

Ontoit was engaged to undertake options assessment for the upgrade of Canterbury Road in Melbourne’s east.

As part of this work, Ontoit completed microsimulation modelling using a complex actuated model of the corridor. This complex piece of work enabled DoT to refine their traffic signal operations to optimise traffic flow along the corridor.
