Luckily David Fanner, head of multimedia at Guardian Australia has worked with Parks Victoria to produce a hyperlapse video of his trek, compressed for your viewing pleasure into just five minutes and 30 seconds.
Ontoit director Ash Ellawala worked closely with Parks Victoria leading the Ontoit team that provided project management and ‘superintendency’, such as co-ordinating multiple contractors simultaneously to make sure work flowed without interruption to ensure on-time delivery.
“As the video shows, the result is a fantastic experience for Victorians and visitors that is part of the ancient Gariwerd Aboriginal cultural landscape,” Ash said.
Enjoying the Grampians Peak Trail doesn’t require a 13-day commitment, though. There are single-day, overnight and multi-day walks available.
Ontoit pays its respects to the traditional owners and Barengi Gadjin Land Council, Eastern Maar Aboriginal Corporation and Gunditj Mirring Traditional Owners Aboriginal Corporation.
