Royal Exhibition Building

The Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne's north is one of the city's most popular and beautiful landmarks.

The Federal Government has committed $20 million towards protecting and promoting this world heritage-listed site which is one of the world’s oldest remaining exhibition pavilions. The scope of works include façade restoration and repairs to the dome and building joinery.

Ontoit was appointed by Museums Victoria to provide project management services as project director and superintendent.

Our key responsibilities included strategic advice in relation to complex heritage works within an operational building, procurement, obtaining permit applications, coordinating consultants and risk, budget and program reports.
