The redevelopment works will expand the capacity of the Centre with a number of new performance venues, an upgraded box office and refurbished back-of-house and administration facilities. More dining options and an outdoor atrium are also being considered in the design.
Ontoit was initially engaged to provide strategic advice and to support the Project Director. This role also involved assisting with the development of the delivery methodology, the procurement of consultants and the managing contractor, the assessment and mitigation of risks, including how to navigate the risks associated with COVID-19.
